Australian celebrity stylist, Kara Wilson comes to LA with credits from The Voice, Fashion Police, Nine Network, and pop-star Delta Goodrem
Kara Wilson, New Zealand born, raised in Sydney, and now bringing her style to Los Angeles.
Kara began her styling career in 2010 when she was hired as a Freelance stylist for the Nine Network where she spent six years, eventually progressing to senior stylist nationwide. Through her work with the Nine Network Kara styled numerous A-list celebrities for Australian and international red carpet events, premieres, television shows, editorials, commercials and album covers.
Kara has worked on reality talent show The Voice Australia for two consecutive years styling host Sonia Kruger and in 2016 also took on coach Delta Goodrem as a client. Kara was the head stylist for Australia’s top rating breakfast show The Today show for six years where she styled a panel of four hosts each and every morning for live and pre-recorded television.
Kara has styled up to fifty celebrities for the annual red carpet TV week Logie awards for the last five years where her work received much acclaim via best dressed lists in Australian magazines and newspapers throughout the country.
Most notably Kara was hired as the stylist to shoot Delta Goodrem’s ‘Wings of The Wild’ Album cover which was nominated for an ARIA award for best album cover in 2016.
Kara also recently collaborated with Canon Australia where she was hand picked as the head stylist to help put together a series of Portraits titled “Women of Influence” which is currently being exhibited Australia-wide.
